Animated Battle Reports
A very long time ago, when we were still in school, we made a couple of websites about the hobby we were doing. In those websites we started to make battle reports in an animated form. While digging around in the attic I found some floppy disks which contained the battle reports! So here they are in all their glory. These were made a long time ago, and so even though the rules have changed and they are a bit cartoon-like, they took quite a bit of effort to make so it only seems right they can be seen once more. I hope you find them at least a little entertaining!
This battle reports are made with Flash so you will need a Flash Player, or browser that includes one, to view them. You can download a Flash Player for free if you need one.
If your browser opens the reports in the same window, just hit the back button to return to this page.

Warhammer 40,000 Battle ReportThis is the first report we made. This was 3rd edition rules, using one of the missions from the rulebook. There are a couple of mistakes but hopefully it is still enjoyable!

Warhammer Battle ReportThe second of our animated reports, this time a Warhammer battle. This was 3rd or 4th edition.

Battlefleet Gothic Battle ReportThis report stepped up the complexity a little, with lots of individual ships to keep track of, as well as blast markers, attack craft and torpedoes.

Blood Bowl Match ReportThis was last animated report we completed. We had plans for several more but for one reason or another we never got around to them! This one was by far the most in depth, as we recorded the individual movements square-by-square of 22 players and a ball on the pitch throughout the whole match! The report took a good while to make too...
This was played using the ruleset at the time, with various additions from the compendium and compilation that had been released, such as team-specific spells, allied players, Daemon Princes, and special team-specific cheerleaders. As you can see our teams are quite experienced as well... |
